NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Benton County Noxious Weed Control Board will hold a Public Hearing at the regular board meeting on October 16, 2018. This Public Hearing is to gather verbal and written information concerning an assessment increase of one dollar and thirty-seven cents ($1.37) per parcel on all parcels currently assessed within Benton County. When accepted the per parcel charge would change from $3.63 per parcel to $5.00 per parcel. There will be no change to the acreage assessment within Benton County. Also, for consideration will be the 2019-2020 Noxious Weed Control Board budget.

Written comments will be received until 12:00 pm October 16, 2018. Verbal comments will be taken at the public hearing, 6:00 pm October 16, 2018. Additional information is available at bentonweedboard.com.
